TRAVIS + LONNIE
RESIDENTIAL CONSULTING
Travis is my sweet cousin and he and Lonnie got married recently and bought a new home in Nashville, TN. Travis literally showed me pictures of their new place and gave me a budget to fill and art consult on the many many walls. I came up with 5 very different pieces. 1. A custom www.modernpastpresent.com piece of pictures of them from their wedding which hangs above their mantel. 2. A custom Nashville Map piece accented in gold to hang in their dining room 3. A bottle cap original made from an image of the side of the Ryman theatre 4. A www.modernpastpresent.com piece mixed with a “flip it and reverse it” fine art piece made of images of their old and new home (so they can see all of their old memories too). 5. A layered plexiglass piece of watertowers. Once we decided on pieces I made them and delivered them up to Nashville and helped Travis and Lonnie organize their art collection and where things would go. It’s amazing to make art for family but also make something so personal from their own pictures and memories.
